Welcome to the Canadian Forces Support Unit (Europe) Detachment United Kingdom Website. This site is designed to assist in finding information and links relevant to our members and their families arriving, currently serving or departing the United Kingdom (UK). The mission of Support Detachment UK is to provide centralized support services for our CF members and their families assigned here. This website is an important tool in ensuring that relevant and reliable information is provided in a timely manner.
The Welcome to the UK Guide is a key document for all potential or incoming members and their families. Much effort has been spent updating the information, and the Detachment staff are continuously reviewing and amending the document as required. For those currently serving in the UK, we will continue to add useful forms and “Breaking News” for changes in policy, exchange rates or benefits. In the near future, the Departing the UK Guide will be on this website to assist in minimizing any difficulties for those returning to Canada or moving to other points outside the UK.
As with many websites, ours is still in the development phase and will continue to improve as our website representative, Francoise Tremblay, responds to our community information requirements. Your comments are always welcome.
