Congratulations on being selected for a posting to the United Kingdom. This guide is here to assist you in ensuring that your posting goes as smoothly as possible. We have incorporated a checklist to assist you in the last chapter of this book to help in that area. It is very important that you read this guide completely and thoroughly. If the guide is not clear or if you have questions in any areas that are not covered, please do not hesitate to contact the Detachment and we will be happy to help. If you are away on deployment prior to your posting and your spouse is left with the major part of the arrangements, he/she is also invited to ask questions on your behalf.
2. You should have already received from the Detachment two e-mails with very important information; one from the NCM IC R&D/Claims about housing, and the other from the Dependant Education Clerk, if you have children. If you have not, please contact the Detachment at the contact number enclosed with this guide.
