Message from the Director:
Dear Canadian Community Members,
Did you know that the CMFRC needs an Advisory Committee to operate?
In order to be eligible for funding from DMFS, Director Military Family Services, the Tri-Community CMFRC must have at least 7 community representatives serving on the Advisory Committee, and must be comprised of at least 51% civilian spouses of full-time serving CF members.
The Advisory Committee is an important link between the CMFRC and CF families because its main goal is to ensure the Tri-Community CMFRC responds to the needs of our families through the delivery of relevant services. In order to achieve this goal, members of the Advisory Committee are involved in providing assistance in the areas of planning, policy, monitoring, performance management, community relations, and evaluation.
I am looking for community members to provide me with advice and guidance by serving in one of the following Advisory Committee positions.
Open Positions on the Advisory Committee:
- Chairperson (or Co-Chairs)
- Brunssum Spousal Representative
- Teacher Representative
- Member At Large
