Braubach (approx. 175 km SE of Geilenkirchen). Here you will find Marksburg Castle the only hill castle on the Rhine that was never destroyed. It has been lived in for more than 700 years. Visit the Schloß Augustusburg, a baroque castle located within the centre of Brühl (approx. 84 km SE of GK), which is located on the A61 in the direction of Koblenz. Safaripark Stukenbrock, located at Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock (approx. 232 km NE of GK),is a combination of animal and amusement park. Dülmen (approx. 166 km NE of GK). The only remaining wild horses on the European continent can be found here at the Merfelder Bruch. It is believed that approx 300 animals belong to the herd.
