It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Web page of the psychosocial services of the Canadian Forces Health Services (Ottawa), Geilenkirchen Detachment.
In the following pages you will have the chance to learn more about the services offered, the staff and the activities and projects to come.
It is important for you to know that psychosocial services are offered to all members of the CF and to their dependants (spouse, children and special dependant) posted to the European as well as to Canadian teachers working in Europe.
Furthermore, it is essential to mention that any consultation with a social work officer is strictly confidential and it cannot be shared to any third party without your written consent.
You may initiate a request for services from our department yourself, or your doctor, your chaplain, a friend, your superior or a member of the medical staff can also initiate it.
On that note, we wish you a pleasant stay in Europe and we invite you to communicate with us if you ever feel the need.
