All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent. At the age of 3 years, children may begin seeing the dentist. If there are any dental concerns with younger children, parents may bring them in to see the dentist.
Please note that drinking water is not fluoridated in Europe, and as a result, Children are at a higher risk of developing dental caries (cavities). When children come in for their dental cleaning, a fluoride rinse is provided at that time. Also, fluoridated water and fluoride rinse (called “ACT”) can be purchased at the Schinnen Commissary.
