It is a pleasure to welcome you to CFSU(E)!

CFSU(E) is the lead support unit in Europe and oversees the administrative and logistics requirements of approximately 600 Canadian Forces members, Public Servants, School Teachers and their families across Europe.

This Website enables you to communicate with, and retrieve information pertaining to, CFSU(E). We endeavor to offer the best available service and hope the information provided will be of interest to you.

CFSU(E) was formed on 30th June 1993. Its mission is to provide support services to Canadian Forces members and Department of National Defence personnel stationed in Europe.

A touch of uniqueness lends itself to the support operation in Europe when one takes into consideration that CFSU(E) provides a broad range of services to a Canadian community which is scattered throughout 9 countries, in over 70 different locations, with financial transactions carried out in 6 different currencies.

To organise such an undertaking the following concept was established: all administrative and support services are centralized at CFSU(E) Selfkant while eight CFSU(E) Detachments provide the basic administrative and clerical support to the Canadian communities in Brunssum, The Netherlands; Brussels, Belgium; Casteau, Belgium; Daws Hill, Great Britain; NATO Airbase Geilenkirchen, Germany; Heidelberg, Germany; Naples, Italy; and Ramstein, Germany.
