The Director General Personnel and Family Support Services(DGPFSS) is responsible for administering Non-Public Property
(NPP) on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and delivering
selected public morale and welfare programs, services, and activities on
behalf of ADM (HR-Mil).

Who We Serve
The DGPFSS, with our 5,800
Non-Public Funds (NPF) staff on
bases, wings, units, and at DGPFSS
headquarters in Ottawa, operates with a
fundamental principle in mind: the
customer comes first. In partnership
with bases, wings, and units, we ensure
that our customers, the CF Regular and
Reserve Force members, retired and
former CF members, military families,
Department of National Defence
employees, NPF employees, and RCMP
personnel, receive the morale and welfare programs, services, and activities they
deserve.
Operating Divisions
DGPFSS delivers morale and welfare
programs, services and activities through
three operational divisions:
- the CANEX, more commonly referred
to in Europe as the NATEX, - SISIP FS and,
- PSP.

community, thus contributing to the operational
readiness & effectiveness of the Canadian Forces.
