SOCIAL WELLNESS: Applied Suicide Intervention Training

This is a 2-day workshop that will help you develop Suicide First Aid skills to prevent the immediate risk of suicide and to help that person seek further assistance.

SOCIAL WELLNESS: Stress: Take Charge

A skill based approach to managing stress that emphasizes self awareness, behaviour change and helps to identify strategies that can be improved or implemented to optimize stress management.

SOCIAL WELLNESS: Managing Angry Moments

This is a series of nine 2.5 hour workshops that tackle difficult issues, strong emotions and personal beliefs. You will learn skills and strategies to help reduce anxiety and stress, and improve physical, mental and spiritual wellness and strengthen relationships.

SOCIAL WELLNESS: Basic Relationship Training (BRT)

BRT encourages couples to strengthen and enhance their relationship by incorporating effective communication, negotiation and conflict resolution. You will be given new skills for preventing problems before they start and that will help you navigate the unique challenges of life for Canadian Forces Couples.

NUTRITIONAL WELLNESS: Top Fuel for Top Performance

A two-day workshop for physically active people addressing the role of nutrition and hydration in top performance. Topics addressed include:

Everyday eating, Your Training Diet, Nutrition for exercise, Body Composition and Weight issues, Fine tuning everyday eating.

NUTRITIONAL WELLNESS: Weight Wellness

This program consists of 12 group sessions over a 15 week period that takes a self-managed approach to change your eating behaviour. Throughout the program you will develop a personalized Blueprint for weight management and learn skills to manage eating habits and physical activity for a lifetime.

ADDICTION FREE LIVING: Butt Out

Help for you to become tobacco free. Butt out is nine sessions over 14 weeks and helps you identify your personal reasons for smoking and then helps you develop and practice substitutes for smoking.

ADDICTION FREE LIVING: Alcohol, Other Drugs and Gambling Awareness

This program will increase knowledge and understanding of a variety of issues related to these addictive habits. It is an interactive learning approach to providing information on alcohol, drugs and gambling.
