Supported by the Director of Military Family Services (DMFS), the MFSP operates from each Canadian Military Resources Centre (CMFRC) across Canada, Europe and the United States. Currently there are five CMFRC's which service seven communities throughout Europe and the United Kingdom.
Each CMFRC has an Advisory Committee (AC). The role of the Advisory Committee is to provide support, assistance and guidance to the Director of the CMFRC so that programs and services meet the needs of the local CMFRC. For more information on a particular CMFRC Advisory Committee, click on the links below.
The Military Family Services Program (MFSP) helps CF families manage the stresses unique to life in the military by enhancing their overall quality of life. Professional staff and volunteers provide services in four core areas:
Personal Development and Community Integration
Since mobility is an inherent part of the military lifestyle, the MFSP assists families so that they are better able to integrate into their new community. The MFSP works to enhance each member's quality of life, and promotes and supports personal, family and community development.
